About the Event

Tis the season of praising the Great Establishment. Join us on the 9th of May at the Prince Albert for Hors D'oeuvres de les Hors D'oeuvres of the unsigned bands. Get your delegate passes and influencer gear ready - see you on an unassuming Tuesday afternoon. It won't be crap.

What to expect: 5 hours of live music of a variety of genres in every room and outside; the usual FL's mindless entertainment.

FREE entry.

ps. If you'd like to help out during the day or contribute, apply within.

BIG SLAMMU Brighton based f a c e m e l t e r s. Weird time sigs and heavy riffs coming out the wazoo. Imagine a post hardcore Cher cry-wanking on a jenga tower and chanting the national anthem. (booyakasha) ffo: At The Drive In, The Jesus Lizard, Deerhoof, Frank Zappa

GURF GURF: Big riffs, Big women, Big money.

THE MEAT SWEATERS Paranoid and Sweaty - New Wave / Synth Punk from Brighton / London / Stockholm

THE PETROV BOYS Frank Zappa and Megadeth go on a surfing holiday to the black sea, but drink too much rakija to surf or play music. This is the sound of the Petrov Boys.

HOPS Sketchy garage alt-rock based around a love of hops and everything it produces. For those who enjoy all of life’s rich cultural stew, but find themselves listening to the same loud, noisy guitar bands they’ve always loved.

PUNCHING SWANS Wonky, mischievous, swan-beating postpunk from Kent/London

CLAW MACHINE Brighton based noise.

IZZY ADAMS Izzy Adams comes from a classical music background, playing viola, clarinet, piano and singing. With a unique soundscape of violin and piano underlined by bass and drums, her performances are dramatic with heartfelt and sometimes cruel lyricism.

BOY IN THE CUPBOARD Boy In The Cupboard is an acoustic indie folk band from Brighton.

SUSAN bedroom demos.

IDRIS OPIK for the people.

BRASSIC PARP Brass band blurting out DJ style pop medleys so they can dress up as characters from Jurassic Park.

Have you ever put on a Luke Powell music video and thought "wow, this would be a lot cooler on mute?" Well, we found the mute button.

It works on the entire videography, no less. Praise to the deafening silence. The silence that follows an idyllic diminuendo ushered in by the jangling of the keys after feeding a maternity ward a Poundland multipack of Airwaves Extreme gum.
