Their Father wouldn't let them go outside until they had practiced together at least two hours every other night. They'd just do scales and rudiments if they didn't feel any inspiration to write anything but they needed to write at least two songs a month in order perform a ten-minute show for their Father and his friends from work in their garage.  They did this since the age 11 until 18. They played gigs in pubs and clubs too around Antrim and Belfast, but always had to be out before 9pm as they weren't of age at that point.  Once they hit 18, they decided to go to Brighton as a DJ in the local pub recommended it once because the ecstasy was good. They still practice together two hours every other day.
